Travel was super smooth between Pushcar and Jaipur and only 2 or so hours. We haven't booked our rooms in advance yet (we just rock up and ask for a room), but 30 minutes before arrival I called (mainly because I could with our new sim card) and they were full! Luckily the second one I called had lots to choose from and the woman running the show gave me a hug upon arrival. She also gave us a perfect rajasthani meal. It is some of the best food I have ever eaten. Our host said she misses rajasthani food if she's gone for more than 5 days; i believe it! Super simple, fresh, and homemade - dal with cilantro, ghee chipatis, rice, mixed potatoes and capsicum, pompadoms (which we learned are made from lentils), and pickled mango. That last one isn't the best.
Afterwards we saw a movie Indian style - aka there's an "interval" with commercials and the movie was in hindi without subtitles. We didn't feel like we missed much!! Weird. It was called Chandu Champion and the theater was Raj Mandir which brags that they are the third best theater in the world - ok - gorgeous place! The movie was about the first indian gold medal paralympian. Great movie for all of us!
On the way home the monsoon started in full force creating rivers where the streets were and 6 very soaked tuk tuk riders. Luckily we arrived home wet but fine. When driving through these rivers we saw shoes floating by, so we decided our crocks have a monsoon mode (aka sport mode - when you use the strap around ur heal to ensure ur shoes don't come off).

So cool 😘🥰😍
