Since we saw two crocs yesterday, we thought it was a good idea to ride in a carved out log down the river. The only rule was you can't touch the water.
Animal watch: Dung beetles, 6 inch millipede, 10+ salt water crocs, common kingfishers, white throated kindfisher, stork billed kingfisher, red water lapwing, river lapwing, elephants, 2 one-month-old baby elephants.
For the first time since we started our travels, its raining during waking hours. Luckily it lightened to a drizzle for the safari in the afternoon.
Animal watch: Herds of spotted deer, 4 somber deer, 1 monitor lizard, 1 rhino, a whole buch of wild chickens, even more peacocks, orioles, and a small heren.
Both Reese and Cate had bad stomachs. The beginning of the illnesses coinsided with starting our malaria meds, so we didn't take the meds this morning. Funny enough the sickness is gone. We are all feeling good for our drive back to Kat tomorrow. Malarone sucks.
