The mountains seen here are in the Annapurna Mountain Range - Peekay is the triangle, then Annapurna II (2nd highest in range), Annapurna 4 (4th highest), and Fishtale.
It was a gamble coming to Pokhara to see the Mountains during the monsoon. Cloud cover can prevent seeing them for days and sometimes weeks. I lived in Sikkin 20 years ago and taught English in a "town" called Namthang. (It wasnt really a town just a few houses together). We saw Kanchenjunga (3rd tallest mountain in the world) once every two weeks or so. So, when Peekay popped out from behing a cloud, it was a spiritual experience. The mountain seemed like intricately painted clouds way up in the sky above where any land should be. We are feeling very lucky!
